5 Ways a GP Can Support Your Health Journey

5 Ways a GP Can Support Your Health Journey

At Chadstone Road Clinic Medical Centre, our GPs provide comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages.

1. Treating Everyday Health Problems and Providing Comprehensive GP Care

From infections and minor injuries to skin conditions and general illness, your GP is often the first point of contact for your healthcare needs. Our medical centre also provides skin checks, women's health services, mental health care, ADHD management, medical acupuncture, travel medicine, and preventive health advice.

2. Preventive Health Care

Regular check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings can help detect problems early and keep you healthier for longer.

3. Managing Chronic Conditions

Our medical centre assists patients with ongoing conditions such as diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, and heart disease.

4. Supporting Every Stage of Life

From children's health and pregnancy care to mental health and healthy ageing, your GP can provide ongoing support throughout your life.

5. Coordinating Specialist Care

When needed, your GP can arrange referrals, investigations, and specialist care while continuing to oversee your overall health.

Why Having a Regular GP Matters?

Research shows that people who have a long-term relationship with a trusted GP enjoy better health outcomes. Regular visits to the same medical centre can help with early diagnosis, preventive care, and better management of ongoing health conditions.
